RAMPED UP (Reid Davenport, 2016)
Reid Davenport, 26, was born with cerebral palsy and has dedicated his life to giving more people like him who are living with a disability a voice in today’s narrative. “For a while, I watched news and documentaries that portrayed people with disabilities as inspirational tropes, passive bystanders or villains. I was none of the above. I had a story and was living with a disability,” said Davenport. – Karim Abouelnaga, Forbes
In RAMPED UP, Davenport follows retired firefighter, Robert Kalani, who has filed approximately 60 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) lawsuits, as he attempts to get businesses to comply with ADA requirements of accessibility.
